UNITEN SIGNS MoU WITH FOUR INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TO ADVANCE ACADEMIC EXCELLENT

26 May 2023 – Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Central Queensland University Australia, Aviation Australia, Al-Maaqal University Iraq and Al-Mustaqbal University Iraq in its commitment to fostering global partnerships and advancing academic excellence.

These collaborative agreements aim to facilitate a range of initiatives, including the development of joint programs, collaborative research projects, student exchange and mobility programs, and professional development opportunities for academic staff. The partnerships will also foster academic exchanges, enabling the sharing of knowledge, publications, and academic materials.

Expressing his enthusiasm for these new international collaborations, Vice Chancellor of UNITEN, Prof. Ir. Dr. Noor Azuan Abu Osman, said, “We are thrilled to embark on this internationalisation effort through the signing of these MoUs. This strategic move showcases UNITEN’s unwavering commitment to global engagement and highlights our dedication to providing our students and faculty with engaging, yet transformative, educational experiences. These partnerships demonstrate that UNITEN is on the right path towards better things to come in the future.”

The signing ceremony which took in Kuala Lumpur saw Vice Chancellor of UNITEN Prof. Ir. Dr. Noor Azuan Abu Osman, Dean School of Engineering and Technology of Central Queensland University Prof. Steve Hall, Executive Dean Higher Education and Emerging Technologies of Aviation Australia Prof. Talal Yusaf, Chancellor of Al-Maaqal University Prof. Dr. Badir N. Albadran and President Al-Mustaqbal University Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi sign the MoU.
