Genting Energy Scholarship Award 2024

 

Genting Energy is delighted to announce the application round for their 2024 Bachelor's Degree Scholarship program! Please see the details of the scholarship below.

 

GENTING ENERGY – SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

  1. Qualifying conditions

      (a) Malaysian citizen.

      (b) Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in UNITEN in the following field of studies :

            - Mechanical Engineering

            - Electrical Power / Electronic Engineering

            - Civil Engineering

            - Finance / Accounting

      (c) Other than fresh intake / first year students, undergraduates currently in their second year and above can also apply.

      (d) Minimum CGPA 3.50 in STPM, Matriculation, Foundation, A-Level, Diploma or equivalent.

      ​* Those currently pursuing their degree studies in UNITEN should have a CGPA of 3.50 and above.

      (d) Active participation in extracurricular activities is an added advantage.

      (e) Scholarship recipients must be willing to take up employment with Genting Energy upon their graduation and serve a period of employment.

      (f) Undergraduates who are presently pursuing their studies who are self-funded and / or under PTPTN loan can apply.

 

  1. Details of scholarship award
  • The scholarship awarded shall cover the following :

      (a) Full tuition / examination fees

      (b) Cost of accommodation in hostel in UNITEN, or equivalent.

      (c) Living and other expenses assistance of up to RM 2,000 per semester, disbursed monthly at RM500 per month for each complete month of studies.

  • The scholarship is to be taken for September 2024 semester.
  1. Guideline for Application

      (a) Collect application form at Kaunter 1 at UCC UNITEN or Kaunter 4 at UCC KSHAS. If you cannot pick up the physical form, please email to khafizah@uniten.edu.my

      (b) To complete (using handwriting) and submit the prescribed application form and all related supporting documents in ONE (1) .pdf format documents to : nurrul@uniten.edu.my (Please title your email and your documents in the following format: (YOUR NAME)_Genting Energy Application 2024)

      (c) Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for an interview at Genting Energy.

      (d) Closing date : 31st May 2024
